Aloo chana ki Sabji is a delicious and so tasty dish made with potato and white chickpeas. it’s usually made for lunch or dinner with paratha or poori.

This vegetable is made with gravy, due to which the taste of this dish becomes very good, which is very wonderful to eat. We can also make it in the form of Chhole, which is a very popular dish. Whom people like to eat very much. Whenever we make Aloo chana ki Sabji, we remember Bhatura.

There are many variations of making aloo chole from dry to semi gravy to a curry version. it’s made in so many ways in north India.But we are making it with gravy curry. and Each family has their own way of making it.completely depends on us how we are making it.

How to make Aloo Chana ki Sabji

  •  Soak the dried chickpeas in water overnight or for 8-9 hours. Later drain the water.
  • Add the chickpeas, potatoes, and 3-4 cups of water to the pressure cooker.
  • Pressure cooker medium to high flame for 7-9 whistles.
  • Take out the potato from the gram and peel it and keep the gram aside.
  • Take a frying pan and heat oil.
  • Add cumin seeds and fennel seeds.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste.
  • Then add onions paste and fry until golden.
  • Now add tomato paste and cook it some time.
  • After that add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • Mix well. and Cook until the masala leaving the oil.
  • After that add chana or mash potato.
  • Now mix well.
  • And then add hot water as you needed.
  • Cook it for 7-8 minutes.
  • Then add chopped green coriander leaves.
  • Our Aloo Chana Sabji is ready to serve.
  • Now transfer it in a serving bowl.
