Ingredients

  • 2 cup wheat flour
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • salt as per taste
  • water for the dough
  • 1/2 cup coconut chopped
  • 23 cup jaggery
  • 1/2 cup Mava
  • 1/4 cup nut chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom

Instructions

Method for stuffing

  • Mix chopped coconut and jaggery in a bowl.
  • And add roasted poppy seed or chopped nut, cardamom powder, and a half cup of Mava and mix well and add a chopped nut, cardamom powder, and a half cup of Mava and mix well.

  • Now turn the gas stove on.
  • Take a frying pan for frying a Modak.
  • Put ghee in a frying pan.
  • Heat ghee in the pan in medium flame.
  • Put the Modak in ghee for frying in medium flame.
