Ingredients

  • 1 cup Toor dal
  • 1 cup chana dal
  • 1 cup moong dal
  • 1 cup Masoor dal ( lentils )
  • 1 cup Chawal (rice)
  • 1/2 cup peanuts
  • 1/2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 2 tsp green chili paste
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp ajwain
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  • water for needed

Instructions

  • First of soaking Chana Dal, Moong Dal, Toor Dal, lentil(masoor dal) and rice, peanuts for 5 hours.
  • After that remove water from Dals.
  • Now after coarsely grinding with the help of a mixer.
  • Add masala's which is very important.
  • Mix properly. and now our paste is ready for making Dhokla.
  • Now make a Dhokla with the help of Idli maker.
  • Cook the Dhokla something 10- 15 minutes.
  • Remove the Dhoklas on a plate.
  • Now our Dal Dhokla is ready to serve with chutney or sauce.
