Ingredients

  • 1/12 cup Chickpeas
  • 3 cup Onions puree
  • 4 cup[ Tomatoes puree
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tsp ginger paste
  • 4-5 Green chilies slit
  • 1 tsp Ginger juliennes
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Kasuri methi
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

  • Soak Kabuli chana 2-3 hours.
  • After that, remove the water.
  • Now take at least five whistles by adding a little oil and a little water with Kabuli Chana in the cooker.
  • After that, Add cloves, garlic paste, and ginger paste.
  • Now Pressure cook at low heat flame for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Then, after the pressure drops, open the pressure cooker and add salt, coriander powder, channa masala, jeera powder, garam masala, red chili, and the tamarind pulp to the cooked chana.
  • After that, again pressure cook for 4-5 minutes.
  • After that, Fry it with ginger juliennes, Onions, tomatoes, and green chilies.
  • Now our Handi chana is ready for serve.
