Ingredients

  • 1 cup wheat flour
  • 1 cup toor dal
  • 1/2 cup Besan
  • 1/4 tsp red chilly powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seed
  • 1 tsp green chilly pieces
  • 1/2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp curry leaves finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp garlic chopped
  • 1/2 cup tomato chopped
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  • water to needed

Instructions

For making spicy Dal Dhokli

  • Take flour in a vessel then add gram flour, turmeric, salt, fennel seeds and after mixing the whole mixture well, knead the water and mix well.
  • Now make the dough and make chapatti with the help of a rolling pin then cut a square size from that chapati.
  • After that put pulses and water in the cooker on the gas stove and keep the medium flame.
  • Now take a whistle of pressure cooker with Dhokli pieces and Pigeon peas ( Toor dal).
  • Now Our Dal Dhokli boiled and ready for frying.

Let's fry Dal Dhokli

  • Now Burn the gas stove then put the frying pan.
  • After that put oil in frying pan on medium flame.
  • Now add mustard seeds and cumin seeds (jeera) in it and fry them and then add green chilies and garlic to it then add red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, and salt according to the test.
  • After that put boiled dal Dhokli in it and mix well.
  • When boiled dal Dhokli is slightly cooked then add some boiled water to it, now let the dal Dhokli cook for 5 minutes.
  • now tasty dal dhokla is ready to serve.
