Sabudana Kheer which is a sweet dish. Which we can make from both big or small Sabudana but today we will make kheer from small Sabudana which is a very good dish for fasting. It is a popular dish in Navratri and all other fasts because this dish is so healthy for us during fasts and can be served after lunch or dinner in cold weather. It is very easy to make, it is very light in food and you can prepare it in just 30 minutes.

Sabudana kheer delicious, mildly flavored and very easy to prepare and highly nutritious dish. hence, It is a good choice for making on fasting days. In India, Sabudana is mostly eaten during fasts. However, the deliciousness during the fast is so tasty that even on normal days, one feels like eating them.

While making sago kheer, we add sago, milk, green cardamom, saffron, saffron, almonds, sugar, etc. to it, which makes it very tasty. And after eating once I like to eat again and again.

Step 1: Ingredients for Sabudana kheer

  • 1/2 Kg Milk
  • 1/2 Cup Sabudana
  • 1 Green Cardamom
  • 7-8 tbsp Sugar
  • 1/4 tbsp Saffron Kesar
  • 10-15 Raisins
  • 5-7 Almonds

Step 2: Method for making Sabudana kheer

  • Now turn the gas stove on.
  • And put the pan on it.
  • Add milk in it and boil.
  • Then wash the Sabudana.
  • Soak it for 15-20 min.
  • Add soaked Sabudana in milk, cook it at low flame.
  • Add green cardamom, dry fruits, saffron in milk and mix well.
  • Cook the kheer properly so that the Sabudana becomes soft.
  • Add sugar and mix well.
  • Boil the pudding well until it turns brown.
  • Now kheer is ready.
  • Garnish with chopped almonds .cool it and serve
